Seewee Visitor Center -- photos from the boardwalk
(May 2003)
A small water moccasin, or cottonmouth, lies coiled on a log just off the boardwalk running through Seewee. At the trailhead is a small pond which is home to an alligator.
Further up the trail, a pen houses a group of wolves. The snakes and alligator, however, are not separated from the public: you're right there with 'em.
